Grape
Vitis vinifera

Grown for over 5000 years, grapes are one of the world's most popular and oldest cultivated fruits.  Grapevines provide lush beauty to a landscape and delicious fruit to the table. They are easy to grow on an arbor, fence or trellis.

We have two very old varieties on the farm planted by my great grandparents. One is a green grape and the other a pink skinned variety.  The skins are tart and slip off easily.  Both have large seeds.  But the fruits are tasty! Pictures are coming.
